Kitchen Table by Darryl Fullerton

The wife wanted to replace the kitchen table but I convinced her too give me a shot at a cover that’s removable. I took a piece of 7/32 underlayment cut it to desired size.

Then, I took 12 – 1″ x 4″ furring strip boards cut them to match underlayment.

Taking the fur boards, I equaled them up at 7 a piece I stained 7, painted; stressed 7, and left 7 alone. I glued each board and then stapled them to the underlayment.

Finally, I capped the outside with 1″ x 4″ white pine cutting the corners at a 45°.
